Predicate

Following Brexit and subsequent uncertainties, a consortium of British Developers (Union Jack Corp) has targeted some aspects as a stable ground to groom their expansion. The consortium's research indicates the need to support the health of the city fabric. Decentralization is seen to spread the country's wealth, and this act would facilitate the much-needed growth of lesser cities or help sustain smaller towns. Consequently, Union Jack Corp would like to engage architects to design a series of shops in and around various UK cities outside of London. As part of their urban investment strategies, Union Jack Corp focuses on the working class aged 25-35. Union Jack Corp would like the development to project a progressive stance in line with the UK architectural scene. Various cardinal locations have been selected as nodes to promote the continuity of urban activities. You have been tasked with one such locale.

The assignment is broken down into two digestible and logical parts:

Part 1: DD 

The design portion will culminate in a complete set of design presentation drawings.

Part 2: CD 

A working check set drawing on AutoCad (no REVIT) set in 11x17 format will be fully developed. 

Brainstorm and work through a design for a small "B" restaurant with a seating capacity of not more than 20—size to be no more than 1500 SQFT.
