About Me

My journey to the field of architecture has been one of determination and unwavering commitment to pursuing my passion. After completing a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Aleppo University in Syria, I embarked on a professional path in my family's international clothing factory. Over 12 years, I served as a clothing designer and administrator, gaining invaluable experience in creative design and business management. However, my true calling has always been in architecture, and upon immigrating to Canada in 2016, I seized the opportunity to pursue this passion. In the summer of 2021, I graduated from the Architectural Technology program with excellence from Durham College.

As a creative dreamer, I aspire to shape our environments to harmonize with nature, making our homes and workplaces comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. However, my experience as a businessperson has instilled in me the importance of practicality, including staying within budget, meeting deadlines, and surpassing customer expectations. At Hom Drafting and Design Inc. in Clarington, Ontario, I've played a key role in developing residential designs that meet stringent building codes and regulations. My responsibilities include creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, facilitating effective communication with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and zoning requirements.
